Studies in natural science, in communications and in animation led Martine Bernier to work in scientific museology. A museologist at Espace pour la vie, she collaborates on Métamorphose, a major development project at the Insectarium after being part of the project management team at the Planétarium Rio Tinto Alcan. Previously, Martine was training and professional-development director at the Société des musées québécois. She’s also been director of exhibitions at the Musée de la nature et des sciences. There she developed an international-caliber traveling exhibit program. Besides marketing the expertise of the Musée, she conceived and realized the permanent exhibits. The myriad of exhibitions and publications on which she’s collaborated have earned many awards.
Martine is now Head of Public Programs and Education at the Jardin botanique.
