From 1989 to 2013, Claire Laberge was the horticulturist in charge of the Rose Garden at the Jardin botanique de Montréal, which consists of over 10,000 rosebushes numbering close to 1,000 different species. She was also in charge of the Aquatic Garden. Chairwoman of the board of directors of the Canadian Rose Society and the Québec Rose Society, she is the author of the book Le guide de la roseraie. She participates regularly as a judge on numerous selection committees at rose exhibits in Canada and abroad.
